Change of Mind Returns Policy

The Port Broughton Echo Inc gives you 30 days to return a product, excluding the monthly magazine, advertising and sponsorship, that you’ve changed your mind on. Returns and Refunds apply to orders generated either online or through purchase through a stockist. This policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Returns within 30 days

The Port Broughton Echo Inc will happily give you a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase, provided you have proof of purchase and the product:

  • is still in its original and saleable condition

  • has not been worn or used and, is not expired, eg outdated calendars

Returns can be processed with the Port Broughton Echo Inc team, including online orders. Refunds will only be made using the original payment method stated on your proof of purchase. Please note that delivery fees paid for online orders are non-refundable for change of mind returns.

Faulty Product Returns Policy

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

  • to cancel your subscription with us; and

  • to a refund for the unused portion

You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement with damaged goods. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the subscription and obtain a refund of any unused portion.

Proof of purchase

Returns must be accompanied by a receipt, verifiable proof of purchase such as a credit card statement. In certain circumstances, you may be required to provide further information such as photo identification for loss prevention or legislative requirements. Information collected in this manner will be stored securely.

Returning products to the Port Broughton Echo Inc

If your purchase was made online or at one of our Stockists, you will need to either return to the Stockist or contact the PBE team direct.

Merchandise that you have purchased online at portbroughtonecho.com can be returned either:

  1. If your order is damaged in transit or we have shipped the incorrect product, please contact us immediately at portbroughtonecho@outlook.com

  2. If you have received an incorrect PBE item that you did not order, please contact us immediately by either phoning (08) 8635 2018 or email portbroughtonecho@outlook.com. Attach clear photos or provide a short video of the item you received, the delivery label, and the packaging. This documentation will assist us in resolving the issue quickly and accurately.

Once you have submitted your enquiry, the relevant PBE team member will be notified and provided with the documentation you have submitted.
